Job Description / Responsibility

• Improve delivery of essential health services including basic nutrition and nutrition sensitive services at Upazila level for mothers, pw, newborns & children under 2
• Increase consumption and utilization of nutritious foods & supplements by mothers, PW, newborns & children under 2 at Upazila level
• Strengthen governance policy and public engagement of MNCH through building capacity of government health staff and community health workers at upazila level
• Ensure participatory Monitoring & Evaluation system
• Manage Upazila team and build their capacity
• Networking and linkage with consortium members, local government, WV regional office and WV national office

Educational Requirements

• Essential-Bachelor’s degree preferably in Agriculture or relevant field.
• Post graduate degree on Agriculture/ Food & Nutrition

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
• Program Officer/Manager, Project Coordinator/ Officer
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

NGO

Additional Job Requirements

• Age 33 to 45 year(s)
• Clear understanding on basic nutrition and nutrition sensitive services
• Knowledge on project management
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Leadership and managerial skills
• Ability to be a self-starter who is able to motivate team members to achieve common goals.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple deadlines.
• Communications and networking
• Good command in English & Bengali both in writing and speaking
• Decision making and conflict resolution skills
• Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
• Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation
• 5 year of experience in managing donor funded projects
